This food web is not entirely specific to Novato, but it is fairly accurate. Other consumers that are not shows here are coyotes, bobcats, and raccoons. Raccoons have become a problem in Marin, and have strayed from there normal diet of invertebrates, plant material, and the occasional bird or small mammal and now often eat human garbage along with other foods. Novato has many jack rabbits, deer, squirrels, mice and turkey.
